Young men
Young men

About the artwork

The artwork
«Group of young men talking about the political and economic state of the world» Explores the encounter between society's prejudices and the complex reality of young people's lives. At the center of the work is a group of young men, portrayed in an urban setting, who at first glance may appear to be criminals. They are dressed in everyday clothes, and their attitudes and effects may arouse suspicion among passers-by.
What appears to be a threatening group is actually a collection of committed individuals discussing the burning topics of politics and economics. Through their intense conversations, they address challenges related to unemployment, inequality and social barriers that put pressure on their generation.
The artist invites the viewer to look beyond the first impression and reflect on how society's stereotypes can overshadow important discussions about the future. Using visual elements, the dichotomy between external appearance and internal reality is emphasized.
