About the artwork
The title of the artwork is "Silence in the Shadow of War". The drawing depicts a soldier lying in a lush field covered in colorful flowers. The main motif depicts a young man, dressed in military uniform, resting with an expression of peace.
The flowers around him symbolize life and beauty, which contrasts with the brutal reality of war. The bright colors highlight the vitality of nature, while the soldier's presence reminds us of the psychological and physical costs of conflict.
"Silence in the Shadow of War" invites the audience to reflect on how the devastation of war can coexist with the beauty of nature, and encourages a conversation about peace and healing.
